Obituary

Live. Love. Laugh. Sue Bellino epitomized all three and she did them genuinely and well. Perhaps testament to her Italian heritage and upbringing she had a way of making you feel loved and special. Though born an only child to the late Phillip and Josephine (Dell'Olio) Panzero she came from a very large and close-knit extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins. Her life was punctuated with friends, family, tears, laughter and moments of wonder and awe.

Sue died unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston. She was 71.

On April 4, 1945 Susan M. Panzero was born in Worcester. She was raised in a traditional three decker in the city's Italian neighborhood of Shrewsbury Street. A graduate of Venerini Academy on St. Ann's Hill she then graduated from Becker Junior College. On June 15, 1965 she married Joseph B. Bellino (Lt. Col. USAF) in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and they made their home in Shrewsbury since 1970.

Professionally Sue's name was well known and visible around town and beyond. With her million dollar smile she enjoyed a successful career in real estate where she had worked at Coldwell Banker in Shrewsbury for over 20 years. She was a natural and as a result very good at her work and earned the respect and admiration of both her clients and colleagues.

She had a larger than life presence and a kindness in her smile, on her face and in her actions. Stylish and chic she was also a woman who also wasn't afraid to say it like it is. She enjoyed the laugh from a good jokeā€¦appropriate or not and the company of a house full of family and friends.

Seldom seen apart from one another Sue and Joe demonstrated good nature, social and affable personalities and they were a natural compliment to one another. They were active members in their Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and its capital campaign to keep the church open. She was a loyal friend and enjoyed a round of golf with her lady golfers at The Haven Country Club in Boylston. Food was central and ceremonious, whether cooking or eating, for holidays or a just a weekday lunch or dinner. She welcomed any excuse to entertain or be entertained, greet all at table, and hold space for generations and friends alike. To say that Sue had admiration and love for her grandchildren and all of her family is an understatementā€¦and the feelings were mutual. Live. Love. Laugh.

Sue and Joe suffered the unimaginable heartbreak of losing their only son, Joseph P. Bellino on March 24, 2000. Her deep faith guided and sustained her in both good and difficult times throughout her life and assured her she would be someday be with God, Joseph and all of her family and friends.

Sue's love lives on in the hearts of her family including her husband of 51 years, Joe and their daughter, Nicole 'Nicki' Franzoso and her husband, Anthony; her grandchildren, Anthony, Matthew, Joseph and Gabrielle Franzoso, all of Shrewsbury, Allyssa and Kevin Bellino and her daughter-in-law, Karen Senosk, all of Boylston; her sister-in-law, Jacqueline Jaques and her husband, Louis of Worcester; nieces & nephews. Gone much too soon she was loved by so many of her neighbors, friends, co-workers and her large extended family.
