I believe that we all enter life with God's love guiding us, and that in death God surrounds us with love and gives us a peace that we never experienced in life.
I believe that, silently, we all try to prepare for tomorrow. This is my tomorrow. I won't leave behind an impressive curriculum vitae or cure for cancer, but I was blessed to love and be loved. These are life's greatest gifts.
My gift of family is my husband, my love, Michael A. Pagano; my daughters, Kelley A. Pagano of Seattle and Jennifer P. Albrecht and her husband, Brian Albrecht of Cambridge; my first grandchild, Marin, whom I loved even before we knew her; my loving parents, Fred and Peg (Brosnihan) Simmons of Shrewsbury; my siblings, Carol A. Forchielli and her husband, Ken, of Shrewsbury and Brian F. Simmons and his wife, Rose, of Colleyville, Texas – my forever friends; and a host of much loved relatives in the Simmons and Pagano families.
I love you and thank you all for loving me. Remember me with a smile.
"To laugh often and much;
to win the respect of intelligent
people and the affection of children;
to earn the appreciation of honest
critics and endure the betrayal of false
friends; to appreciate beauty;
to find the best in others; to leave
the world a bit better whether
by a healthy child, a garden patch,
or a redeemed social condition;
to know even one life has breathed
easier because you have lived.
This is to have succeeded."
-Ralph Waldo Emerson
